During the 2021 - 2022 academic year, I worked at Grace Community Academy, a small Christian private school in Columbia, South Carolina. I worked with 7th through 12th grade students and proctored the following online math classes:

I wrote this letter in an attempt to motivate my high school students to study math. It gives the flavor of my teaching philosophy, and it is heavily influenced by "A Mathematician's Lament," by Paul Lockhart.
The book "Love and Math" by Edward Frenkel is one of my favorites.
